People ask me a lot how I got into food blogging, and honestly, I can't really tell them with 100 percent certainty. I had just been laid off from a job I loathed and around that same time, I had started experimenting with baking. Maybe it was just the stars aligning - I finally lived in an apartment with a large kitchen, I had a ton of time on my hands with no job and nothing helps you kill boredom like snacking on some freshly baked sweets.
That's the story of how Puff & Choux was born in a New York City apartment in February 2008. What became a hobby soon turned into a passion. I had found something I was actually good at. I found that baking came naturally, and I've always thought I was a decent writer (despite what my boss at above mentioned job thought). So, here is my food blog.
Since founding Puff & Choux, I've met some extremely cool people and made some terrific friends. From attending Food BlogHer in 2009 to being one of only 25 bloggers invited to the Bon Appetit Blogger Party in December 2009, I feel like I've finally found something that is taking my life in unexpected directions. As I like to say, J'ai de la chance...
