Legendary New York City baker honored for six decades of service
The New York Times ran a great piece today about Eddie Adams, a baker who spent 63 years whipping up cakes and pies for Primeburger, a diner on the Upper East Side of New York City.
Mr. Adams retired last year, and to honor all of his hard work and dedication over the past six decades, the owners of Primeburger will present him with a plaque next month.
To read the full article, check out the The City section in today's New York Times, or by visiting here.
My favorite part of the article was the quote from Mr. Adams at the end. In regard to how he felt about his 60 plus years of service, he simply said,"“If you put your heart and soul to it, you know how to do it.”
Even though you won't be able to taste the delicious desserts created by Mr. Adams, you should still visit Primeburger:
