I'm excited to share the news that one of my favorite food bloggers, Molly Wizenberg, also known as Orangette, will be at my all-time favorite bookstore in New York City to for a reading and reception in honor of her new book A Homemade Life: Stories and Recipes from my Kitchen Table.
The event will take place at Idlewild Books on Wednesday, March 18th at 7 p.m.
Please RSVP in advance to events@idlewildbooks.com. If you can't make it but would like to reserve a signed copy of Molly's book, please call 212-414-8888.
Here is the information from the invite I received from Idlewild Books:
When Molly Wizenberg's father died five years ago, she knew she couldn't immediately resume her life in Seattle and took off for Paris. She was supposed to be doing research for her dissertation but more often found herself peering through the windows of chocolate shops or tasting cheeses at outdoor markets until one evening when she sat in the Luxembourg Gardens reading cookbooks and realized her heart was not in her studies but in the kitchen.
Fast forward five years and the acclaimed food blog Molly started as a lark (http://orangette.blogspot.com/) has an international following, Molly has a monthly column in Bon Appetit, and is even married to one of her fans. In her delightful new book, Molly recounts a life with a kitchen at its center. You won't be able to decide whether to curl up and stay up all night reading this wonderful book or to head straight to the market to bring her fantastic recipes to life.
